I stumbled across this interesting topic while browsing through Coursera. To be completely honest, I am extremely late in jumping on to the bandwagon which is currently discussing design thinking. The more I read about it, the more I hear people wonder if this is the new ‘business management fad’. I heard Andre Martin and few more talk about the effectiveness of it.
It may be just another problem solving technique but it sure seems an interesting way to do so. I really like how Jeremy Alexis talks about the two kinds of problems – mysteries and puzzles and how design thinking is a way to solve mysteries.
Even if a little late, I quickly joined the course and have a lot of catching up to do. Have you heard about design thinking? If not, I recommend going through the course offered on Coursera. It might just be what you’re looking for.
