It’s been 8 years since I started this blog and 2 years since I took on my first 31-day challenge (what!).
We’ve taken two trips round the sun since I posted my first 31-day challenge here in March 2019; two years of me attempting and failing at every single challenge. Hence, this month, for the first time, I wondered if I should attempt yet another one or let it go. Clearly I wasn’t invested enough in giving it a real shot. Why else would I be failing at it? Is 31-days too long?
I have to admit, there is some merit to setting up these challenges. Yes, I failed to write every single day the last month, but I wrote more than the past few. Despite all the failures, the challenge stayed top of mind and I made my way through some successful days. However, two years is a long run, and it’s time to retire the challenges in their current format. I will continue to challenge myself but they don’t need to make it on to here.
It is the end of an era but it’s time.
Now back to the more serious stuff. Did you hear about the Basecamp fiasco?
