Slacking has a sneaky way of leaving tell-tale signs in your conversation, your work and in the very way you move. You may fool yourself into believing that it won’t be observed, but it will be. Let it linger for too long and they will react.
This also means you can notice when someone begins to slack. Don’t ignore it. Don’t pounce on it. Definitely do not make a judgement based on it. Ask why! Ask why someone doesn’t feel like putting in their best for you. Understand that it may not have anything to do with the work or workplace. Understand that they need your support even if it doesn’t.
Everyone slacks at some point or the other. It’s ok! Just don’t let it get to you.
